African Braids Australia

I am currently working on a Joomla / Virtuemart e-commerce solution for African Braids Australia. This company is the pre-eminent supplier of skincare and haircare products to people of colour living in Australia. The project involves extending this company from a traditional brick and mortar supplier to a web based mail order business. My role is to help guide the client towards better solutions and to develop, populate and maintain the platform. A development model of the site can be viewed here

IPTC Gallery

A PHP driven IPTC image gallery that aims to achieve a number of objectives. These are as follows:

Creating a PHP driven thumbnail gallery on the fly.
Creating dynamic links to full sized images
Using embedded IPTC metadata to create contextual tags.

Hi there,

My name is Rob Howarth of Phreestyledesign. This site is a repository of web design projects that have interested me over the last few years and mainly concerns itself with HTML, CSS and PHP. It also explores concepts related to web design and organisation of data.

These projects reside here to provide an opportunity to experiment with new ideas and principles. They also may provide opportunities for others to further their own explorations and experiments.

I have gained a great deal of information from the web over the last few years and I believe that the sharing of information and ideas is essential. This, then, is my contribution to the great mind meld that is the internet.

I live and work in Perth, Western Australia.. I offer training in information management technologies , and focus my energies on enabling information curators to effectively utilise theory, methodology and technology.
